CSL Research Acceleration Initiative Information Session

Presented by Dr Marthe D'Ombrain, Director, Research Innovation at CSL, the event provides an opportunity for you to hear about the new collaborative partnership to accelerate research that focuses on the therapeutic areas of immunology, neurology, haematology, thrombosis, transplant, respiratory, and cardiovascular/metabolic.

About the speaker

Dr Marthe D'Ombrain
Director, Research Innovation, CSL

As the Director, Research Innovation at CSL, Marthe plays a key role in the identification and integration of new technology and project opportunities into CSL's global Research portfolio and leads efforts to establish and strengthen key external collaborative partnerships. Marthe has a PhD in immunology and parasitology from the University of Melbourne, which she undertook at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne. Marthe undertook postdoctoral studies at the Université de Lausanne and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. Marthe joined CSL in 2013 as the Manager, R&D Licensing and Partnerships, followed by Senior Manager, Global Licensing. In these roles, she was responsible for negotiating licenses relating to CSL's coagulation, specialty and breakthough products and provided strategic and business development input to supporting the growth of CSL's R&D portfolio. Prior to joining CSL, Marthe held various positions at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute including Senior Research Officer and Project Leader, Business and Partnerships Development Manager, and Acting Head of Development.
